[edit] Concert Overview

WP1 is being organized by a production team known as WP1–WP10 (World Peace One-World Peace Ten). It will be broadcast live from sixteen primary host cities with additional support from secondary host cities. The organizers predict WP1 will reach an audience of roughly 3.5 billion people in more than 190 countries through a global distribution grid that includes television and radio broadcasting networks, Internet and streaming mobile phones. Venue sites will be linked by satellite, enabling each city to view other events simultaneously. These venue-to-venue uplinks will be shown on Jumbotron, Diamond Vision, and screens at Primary and Secondary Host City sites.[2] The event will also feature activities related to a comprehensive humanitarian awareness campaign.

EarthOne Productions, LLC is slated to produce the official WP1 theme song, "Give Your Love." Written by Gavin Christopher, Craig Williams and Anna Williams, the song provides a platform to produce multiple versions in a variety of music genres and languages. EarthOne will use its proprietary technology platform, "EarthCom1™," a multi-lingual MySpace-like social networking platform, to interact with global events, and stream video and music in a format similar to YouTube.[3]

During March 2007, Charles Banfield Productions signed on with EarthOne Productions as Executive Producer, Special Events for the WP1 Concert. After the event, Charles plans to stay on with EarthOne to develop several humanitarian event concepts.[4] Promotional and marketing activities will be performed by Arie Kaduri of NYK Concerts and Dan Barnett of Wizard Entertainment, both Florida-based companies.
