Westwood, Peterborough

Westwood is residential area of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, situated to the west of the city centre.
The housing estate was built in the early 1970s on land formerly in use as RAF Peterborough, a Second World War training base for allied and Commonwealth pilots. Westwood has one primary school, Highlees; secondary school pupils attend other schools in the vicinity.
