Wali Khan Amin Shah (Arabic: والي خان أمين شاه) (He had many aliases, including Osama Turkestani, Osama Asmuray, and Grabi Ibrahim Hahsen), convicted on charges of terrorism, was a man who had a role in the foiled Operation Bojinka terrorist attack plot.

[edit] Pre-war against Communist invasion

Shah, an Afghan had fought with Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. After that, he went to Manila, Philippines and laundered money to the project through several individuals, including his girlfriend. The money came from Konsojaya, a front company set up by Indonesian terrorist Riduan Isamuddin, better known as "Hambali". He was on the board of directors of the company, and he owned half of the shares of the company. Shah carried several false passports under various aliases, including Norwegian, Saudi, Afghan, and four Pakistani aliases.

While in Metro Manila, he got a girlfriend named Arminda Costudio, a waitress at the Manila Bay Club on Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City. Costudio also met Khalid Shaikh Mohammed on several occasions. According to some sources, he meet with an Arab Christian girl from Lebanon named Nurul Liyana or her birth name, Linda Ran. She is a employee at a karaoke pub.

Similar with Ramzi Yousef, Shah also spent his lavish times with some women in Manila. However, Shah also likes to made it with Arab female. Liyana was among his girlfriend. According to Liyana, Shah invited her once every three or four days for their dinner. They will enjoy it with Carlsberg or Heineken.

During the Gulf War, Shah and Liyana was made their discussion about the Western influence in Arab states. Although both are difference religion, but agree that the casus belli of the conflicts around Middle East will not over if the Western still clash with Arab.

Another Arab Christian girl from Iraq named Fitra Adila also became Shah's girlfriend. Fitra is the member of Wikipedia and sent her information about some topics such as jihad in Chechnya, jihadist against Philippines, Hindu's war on Islam, Waziristan insurgency, hotel where Linda worked, Malaysian-owned bank, Tel Aviv, Astro, Italy, Yen, First American-Iraq War, Saddam Hussein captured, breast, Back To The Future, jihad in Thailand , Zyxel, Mecca Cola, Ringgit, Toyota, Acer, sex, Manila, Bangkok, SCIRI, Fidel Castro, Euro, Kenya, Iranian-owned Coca Cola, Al-Qaeda in Arab Peninsular, Ramzi Yousef, Abdul Hakim Murad, Jihad, Qatar, Mehdi Army in Iraq, Vietnam War, Danish, Casio, Panasonic, Iraq War, Fatah, Uday Hussein, and Liyana Balqis's sex, bra, and breast tourched film. During 2006 Lebanon War, she praised Russian support for Hezbollah but currently denied her support to an Islamist war on Lebanese army.

Fitra's uncle and two of her cousins went to Texas in 1989 after the war with Iran. All were killed during their involvement during the war in Vietnam.

Since that, Shah views that both of them can made relationship and Liyana can help him to give her ideas for his mission. Liyana told that she praised Saddam views against on United States and his attack on Tel Aviv[1] in early 1990s. During her study times, Liyana also supported Baath Party in Iraq and Syria. While Liyana and Shah spent their meeting at the Swiss Inn Hotel, they will talking about their preparation for financial support for Palestinian refugees and Hezbollah. Liyana was siding with the group against Israel and its backed militia.

Fitra went to Kuala Lumpur in early 1993 with somebody named Amar Khan. He is Egyptian Christian and Fitra's former classmate. Amar spent RM 250 per month for his study. Around 5% from his money will given to Fitra when they have a dinner or lunch at hotel.

Shah also may involved with mujahideen in Iran to attack several Iranian government buildings. Their target were Iranian officials.

Currently, Liyana is a employee at the Malaysia's Genting casino while Fitra never return to Iraq.

[edit] Attack on Philippines

Shah bombed the Greenbelt Theatre in Manila, Philippines on December 1, injuring several people.In January 1995 Shah traveled from Pakistan to Manila via Kuala Lumpur and Singapore to rendezvous with Yousef [1].

The Bojinka plot was discovered by police on January 6, 1995. He was arrested by Manila police at an apartment on Singalong Street on January 11, but he escaped on short order 77 hours later. He was given a false passport with the name "Osama Turkestani" on it so that he could escape. He lived on the island of Langkawi until his rearrest. He was arrested in Malaysia in December of that year. He was later sent to American authorities.

When investigators found Shah, he had mangled hands and was missing three of his ten fingers. His legs were heavily scraped by shrapnel, and he had a surgical scar on his stomach. This had been a result in his battle against the Soviets.

Ramzi Yousef, one of Shah's partners, was arrested in Pakistan in February 1995.

Shah attempted to escape from United States custody and failed [2].

Shah is now serving a life sentence in prison. He has been cooperating with the United States Government since August 1998.
