Situated in the Puck County in Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999, previously in Gdańsk Voivodeship (1975-1998), Władysławowo is a sea port and one of the most popular Polish seaside resorts.

The gmina (municipal commune) of Władysławowo consists of several districts: Władysławowo, Chałupy, Jastrzębia Góra, Rozewie, Karwia, Tupadły.
