Voiced alveolar affricate

The voiced alveolar affricate is a type of consonantal sound, used in some spoken languages. The symbol in the International Phonetic Alphabet that represents this sound is d͡z (previously ʣ) , and the equivalent X-SAMPA symbol is dz.
