Vikramōrvaśīyam is Sanskrit play by mediaval Indian poet Kalidasa, about the love story between king Pururavas and celestial nymph Urvashi.

The story centers on Urvashi's abduction by demons and Pururava rescue efforts. Subsequently Urvashi falls in love with him. But Pururuva is already married. The play revolves around the dilemma that Pururuva faces due to his love for Urvashi and love and commitment to his wife.
