Unveiled is an upcoming Hollywood production which will be directed by Bill Bannerman, who has previously worked as assistant director to Clint Eastwood. It will star Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat.
Bannerman searched the globe for his movie, and wanted someone of Middle Eastern or South Asian descent to essay the title character of a Muslim woman so that it lends a certain amount of authenticity to the film. While Penelope Cruz and Hilary Swank showed interest in the role, Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Shilpa Shetty were also considered. [1]

The film revolves around a Muslim woman with two lovers. [2]The director Bill Bannerman explains it as, "Behind the dark burkha, there lies a sexy, manipulative victim, who's dangerous as well as in grave danger."
