The Tishman Realty & Construction is a construction management and real estate development company. Tishman was founded in 1898 and is headquartered in New York City.
The company is managed by John Tishman of whom it was said: "...we take note that he is the first and only builder in history to head the teams that constructed three 100-story towers—indeed, the first three supertall buildings in history: the John Hancock Building in Chicago and the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.”
[edit] Projects
Tishman has managed major projects in New York City, including construction of the World Trade Center twin towers.[1] Other projects include the Bank of America headquarters building, reconstruction of the Staten Island Ferry's Whitehall Ferry Terminal, and the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall beneath Carnegie Hall. Tishman was also involved in construction of the new 7 World Trade Center, and is involved in the Freedom Tower project.
Tishman also has managed major projects around the United States, including the John Hancock Center in Chicago, Century City in Los Angeles, Epcot Center at Disney World, the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and the CityCenter project in Las Vegas.
