Tim Agnello

One of the founding members of the Thrash Metal Band, Exodus; Tim Agnello was born in the San Francisco suburbs in 1963. He grew up in El Sobrante. Tim is now married for 10 years to his wife Wendy. Tim also has two daughters Cameryn 7 and Jordan 6. He is presently a Minister for the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Stockton, CA.

In the late 70s, Tim (guitar and vocal) and friend Kirk Hammett (Metallica) began to create a new Heavy Metal sound, taking it to the next step of “Thrash Metal”. As a founding member of the group Exodus, Tim left the band in 1981. Tim went into drug rehab in Emeryville , CA in 1994. He turned his life over to Jesus and after successfully completing his rehab program, and began working at NorthShore Community Church. Tim set up the first “Celebrate Recovery” program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tim joined the staff of NorthShore Community Church as the Adult Ministry Pastor. Tim became the pastor of a successful “Post Modern” work at NorthShore called Oasis. During this time Tim penned a short booklet, “Hell is a Bad Place to Be.” After becoming an ordained minister of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Tim has now become the Senior Pastor at the Stockton Alliance Church. Tim’s passion today is to share Jesus with others, who have struggled with the same kinds of issues he dealt with in his life.
