[edit] Lyrical meaning

In a Guitar World interview, Adam Jones confirmed that the title is a reference to an idiomatic term for hypocrisy (i.e. the "pot calling the kettle black"), in addition to the colloquial term for marijuana. Also mentioned in the song is the idea of a "kangaroo" hanging not only the guilty, but also the innocent and even the jury, referring to a kangaroo court.
