The Martin Agency is an American advertising agency based in Richmond, Virginia and probably best known for the tourism campaign and catch-phrase "Virginia is for Lovers" and its ads for GEICO insurance, including the Gecko mascot and cavemen ads.

Founded in 1965 by David N. Martin, it became part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. The agency is ranked consistently among best creative agencies in America. Advertising Age ranked The Martin Agency as the #38 US agency brand in 2005 with revenues of $50m. The Martin Agency frequently works with graduate students from the Virginia Commonwealth University Adcenter, one of the top-ranked advertising schools in the country.
It is currently led by President and CEO John B. Adams, Jr., and President and Creative Director Mike Hughes. Both have received numerous major industry awards over the course of their careers.
