Starogard County

Starogard County (Polish: powiat starogardzki) is a county in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. Capital is in Starogard Gdański. County is inhabited by the Kociewiacy ethnic group.
Population: 121,650 (2005), including 50,000 in Starogard Gdański.
Area: 1345 km², including 25 km² in the town of Starogard Gdański.

Location of Starogard County in Pomeranian Voivodeship
The county consists of 14 communes:
- 3 municipal communes, towns: Czarna Woda, Skórcz and Starogard Gdański,
- 1 rural-municipal commune: Skarszewy (includes the town of Skarszewy),
- 10 rural communes: Bobowo, Kaliska, Lubichowo, Osieczna, Osiek, Skórcz, Smętowo Graniczne, Starogard Gdański, Zblewo.
