Shreyas Talpade (Marathi: श्रेयस तळपदे) is an Indian Bollywood actor based in Mumbai.

Shreyas Talpade was born in Mumbai, India on 27th january 1974.. He attended Shree Ram Welfare Society's High School. He is married to his wife, Deepti, and currently lives in Lokhandwala, Mumbai.[1]

Shreyas Talpade started out acting in many Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra. He debuted in Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor's Iqbal, in which he played the role of a deaf youngster aspiring to be a cricketer. The film and his performance were well-received by audiences and critics alike. [2] His next film was Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor in which he played the comic role of a behroopiya, a man with many disguises. This film was also well-received by critics. [3] In 2006, he also starred in the comedy, Apna Sapna Money Money. In 2007, he was seen in the thriller Aggar and the campus flick Dil Dosti Etc.
He recently starred in Farah Khan's blockbuster movie, Om Shanti Om, with Shah Rukh Khan, where he played the role of Pappu Master. He will next be seen in Nagesh Kukunoor's cross-cultural comedy film, Bombay To Bangkok. He is currently working on Golmaal Returns, the sequel to the hit comedy Golmaal and Sangeeth Sivan's horror flick, Click. He was recently signed by Shyam Benegal for his upcoming film Mahadev. He is also producing a Marathi comedy film, Kaande Pohe. [4] [5]
