Shinwari
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Shinwari are an ethnic Pashtoon tribe of Afghanistan and of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan, though there is no longer any true political connection between the Shinwaris of the respective countries.
Among the greatest poets of the Pashto language in the 20th century was the late Ameer Hamza Shinwari, also known as "Hamza Baba" and "Father of the Ghazal".
