Savior's Day is a holiday of the Nation of Islam (NOI) and the Nation of Gods and Earths. It falls on February 26 and celebrates the birthdate of Wallace Fard Muhammad, whom the NOI believes to have been Allah in human form, the Savior of the Black race. Conventions are held on Savior's Day to meet and speak about important subjects, especially those related to the Black community.
The NOI also recognizes October 7 as an important day because it is the birthdate of Elijah Muhammad, who is believed to be Fard’s Messenger.
