Samba rock is a genre of rock music. Created in the 1960s, the genre combines the sounds of soul, funk and Brazilian Samba. Jorge Ben created the style with his famous album "Bidu/Silêncio no Brooklin". After this a great number of artists followed Ben's beat, including Black Rio, Bebeto (singer) and Trio Mocoto.
