Sainik School, Kapurthala
Sainik School Kapurthala is one of 21 Sainik Schools across India. It is situated in the Kapurthala city of Punjab state, based in what was formerly the palace belonging to the erstwhile Maharajah of princely state of Kapurthala, HRH Maharajah Jagatjit Singh Bahadur. It was started in 1961, with the aim of preparing boys for entry into National Defence Academy in Khadakwasla.It's motto is "KNOWELEDGE,HUMILITY AND DISCIPLINE"
