Saeed Akhtar Mirza is an a Indian writer, director in Hindi films and television. He is the maker of art films, like Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho! (1984), Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai (1980) and Naseem (1995), which won two National Film Awards in 1996.
Though he is most remembered in popular culture for his TV series Nukkad (1986). He is the son of noted film story writer, of films like Naya Daur and Waqt, Akhtar Mirza
