Remee (born Mikkel Remee Sigvardt on November 8 1974) is a Danish producer, composer, having written and composed songs for Jamelia, Shayne Ward, Blue, Shaznay Lewis, Lexington Bridge featuring Snoop Dogg, Monrose, Robyn, Beverley Knight, Corbin Bleu, Bianca Ryan, O-town, Lee Ryan S.O.A.P. and many more.
Remee won the British Ivor Novello Award for "Superstar" with Cutfather and Joe, Swedish Grammy for song of the year for Darins "Money for nothing", Danish Music Awards for best Jazz, best hip hop, best pop album etc. British award nominations for Jamelia. Remee has written and -or produced more than 60 hits around the world and sold over 20 million records.
Remee has had songs in various Hollywood movies including Ice Age 2, Bridget Jones Diary 2, Dr Dolittle, Ratatouille etc.
Remee has also hosted the Danish Junior Eurovision final.
In 2005, Remee composed the tribute song for the victims of the tsunami in South-East Asia, that occurred in 2004. Remee, along with several of Danish celebrities, performed the song "Hvor små vi er". The song went 13 times platinum and raised more than 3 million Danish kroner (500.000 US dollars) for the victims.
He was also behind Jamelia's international hit "Superstar", which originally was written for a Danish singer, Christine Milton. In 2007 he produced and wrote "Hot Summer" for Monrose.de:Remee
