Record Collection

Record Collection is an Independently owned Venice, CA based record company started in 2002 by Mike Piscitelli and Jordan Tappis. In 2005 Record Collection listed record producer Dave Sardy as one of its owners.
Formerly part of the Warner Music Group, Record Collection, now fully independent, is home to a diverse roster of artists including Red Hot Chili Pepper guitarist John Frusciante, The Walkmen, MURS, Brother Reade, The Cubical and Simon Dawes. In 2007 Record Collection released the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack which featured all new music from artists such as Snow Patrol, The Killers and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Walk Like a Man 2", a film featuring new music, concert footage, music video's, and bonus footage from MURS critically acclaimed album Murray's Revenge, and in the coming months new albums from The Cubical, Simon Dawes, Murs, John Frusciante, Brother Reade, Ataxia and The Walkmen are on the schedule to be released.
