[edit] Biography

Wallace was raised in both Tennessee and Virginia throughout his childhood. Wallace began writing stories at the age of seven, and by the time he graduated from high school, he had a great basis to begin a career in filmmaking or as an author. However, Wallace had planned on becoming a minister or a songwriter, never a filmmaker. He graduated from E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Virginia, attended Duke University, and has a black belt in Karate. An article in Christianity Today claims he is a devout Christian (see link below).

In 1980, Wallace moved to Hollywood after trying out a career in singing and songwriting. He immediately began writing short stories, novels, and scripts for movies and television shows.
