"Pressure Drop" is the name of a song, recorded by the Maytals in 1969 for producer Leslie Kong, and released on Beverly's Records in Jamaica, and Trojan Records in the UK. "Pressure Drop," helped launch the Maytals career outside Jamaica, when the song was included on the The Harder They Come film soundtrack, which introduced reggae to much of the world.[1]
In 2004, Rolling Stone rated the song as #446 in its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.[2]
