Prabhu

Prabhu means master or Lord in Hindi. Literally: master, lord, king. A name sometimes applied to God. [1][2]
It is also a common surname among Konkani speaking Saraswat Brahmins across the Konkan Coast in India, from Maharashtra to Kerala. It is also one of the common first names in the state of Tamil Nadu.
