Palau Sant Jordi

Palau Sant Jordi is an indoor sporting arena and multi-purpose installation located in Barcelona, Catalonia. The maximum seating capacity of the arena is 17,000 for sporting events and 20,000 for musical events.
It was opened in 1990 and designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki.

The Palau Sant Jordi was one of the main venues of the 1992 Summer Olympics. Which nowadays is used primarily for all kinds of indoor sport events but also for concerts and other cultural activities, due to its great flexibility. The arena was the venue of the 1998 and 2003 Euroleague final four[1], in which local FC Barcelona won the competition. It also hosted the Shakira Oral Fixation Tour in 2007, and the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2002.
