- Ostrobothnia (historical province), a historical province of the kingdom of Sweden until 1809, now situated in Finland.
- Ostrobothnia (region), a modern region of Finland.
- Southern Ostrobothnia, another region south of the Ostrobothnia region, around the city of Seinäjoki.
- Central Ostrobothnia, a region to the north of Ostrobothnia, around Kokkola.
- Northern Ostrobothnia, a large region comprising most of the Oulu province.
