The Olona is a 131 km Italian river, which runs through the provinces of Varese, Milan and Pavia.
The Olona streams from six springs. Three springs stream in Rasa Valley whereas, other three springs stream in Valganna Valley. Next, the Olona pass through the Olona Valley, and reaching Legnano. After, the Olona river flows in the country until Milan. The river pass through Milan partially under the road's level. In Milan the Olona surrender a part of its water at the Lambro meridionale. The Olona river continue in the cuontry at the south of Milan. The Olona flows into the Po in San Zenone al Po.
The Olona river count 39 tributaries. The principal tributaries are the torrents Vellone, Bevera Varesino, Lanza (or Gaggiolo), Rile-Tenore, Bozzente, Lura, Merlata and Mussa.
