Natalie is also an author. In her book The Real Me: Being the Girl That God Sees, she explores the pressure of self image and negativity that girls are being forced into, and explains how her own perfectionism pushed her into a destructive eating disorder. Her message inspires many girls to "come out of the closet", per say, about their own struggles with depression, cutting, bulimia, and anorexia. Natalie's impact on the world, especially that of girls, is overwhelming.
