The NBA Most Improved Player Award is the annual award presented at season's end to the National Basketball Association (NBA) player who has made the most noticeable improvement from the previous season or seasons. In 2007 Kevin Martin and Monta Ellis were the closest in voting in award history, with Martin losing the award by three votes.
