Mount Frissell is a mountain located on the border of Massachusetts and Connecticut, near their western borders with New York. The peak lies in Massachusetts at an elevation of 748 m (2,454 ft). The south slope of the mountain, at 725 m (2,379 ft), is the highest point in Connecticut, located in Mount Riga State Park in the town of Salisbury. (Bear Mountain, about two miles southeast, is the highest mountain whose peak is in Connecticut.)
