Meri Doli Tere Angana is a Hindi TV serial that airs on Zee TV, based on the concept of a struggle of a woman who is totally committed and believes in herself. It's her strength that will stand by her through the difficult times.

The serial is based on a girl name Simran, who is an orphan and has been brought up by her chacha-chachi. Her chacha-chachi is everything for her and therefore, she believes that whatever they will choose for her will be the best. In the serial, she chooses to go for an arranged marriage, and gets married to Ruhaan, who belongs to one of the wealthiest families in the city. However on the day of her marriage Rohan reveals that he loves someone else, and their wedding is a mistake. This brings Simran at a crossroad where she can't go back to her house because her chacha is heart patient, nor she can move with what Ruhaan said.
But unlike any ordinary tradional Indian girl, Simran decides to abide by her responsibilities as a wife, a daughter, a daughter in law of a prestigious family. She decides to fight against the shadow from her husband's past and get her husband back.
Later, as the story moves on, Ruhaan and Simran goes to Goa for their (pretense) honeymoon. There Ruhaan finds out that the girl he loves is married to someone else. Now, he tries to change and starts having feelings for Simran. But Simran is thinking Ruhaan wants to divorce her. The dilemma is that what will happen to their relationship? This story is about Simran's struggle to get love from her husband and her fate.
