Written and directed by Gulzar the film stars Meena Kumari, Vinod Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha, Deven Verma, Paintal, Asit Sen, Asrani, Danny Denzongpa, Keshto Mukherjee, A. K. Hangal, Mehmood and Yogeeta Bali. The films music is by Salil Choudhury.
