Matthew Settle (born September 17, 1969 in Hickory, North Carolina) is an American actor best known for playing Capt. Ronald Speirs on the HBO show Band of Brothers. He is the youngest of six, having two sisters and three brothers.

He is also currently playing Rufus Humphrey on the new CW show Gossip Girl.
