Lekha Washington is a Chennai-based music VJ and actress.

A qualified film-maker from NID, Ahmedabad, Lekha began her career as a theatre artist. In 2006 she become a VJ on SS Music, and hosted the popular shows PCO and later Connect. She is now set to become a heroine with the film Kettavan co-starring Silambarasan. She also played a leading role in the film 'Framed' directed by independent director Chetan Shah. Recent tabloid buzz in Kollywood was that Silambarasan has chosen to axe her from 'Kettavan' but this was subsequently proved false.
She has recently signed up to Jayamkondaan opposite Vinay Rai.[1]
