On April 4th, 2005 during a hiatus from J.T.L activities and following the release of fellow bandmate Tony An's solo album, Jae Won released his first solo album No Pain No Gain. Unfortunately, the album received disappointing sales. Recently, Jae Won released a 1.5 album and his single I'm So Hot has received many attention due to his sexy image, though the song also got a lot of controversy because many say that most of the song was a rip off of Mariah Carey's song It's Like That.
