Lauren Wilson is a fictional character in British soap opera Coronation Street played by Lucy Evans. Lauren is the sister of Violet Wilson. She first appeared on November 26 2007. Lauren arrived in Weatherfield after spending time abroad in Ayia Napa and immediately set her sights on the eye-candy of the Street. Little is known about Lauren's past but Violet wasn't pleased by her arrival.
On Christmas Day 2007, Lauren became the next in a long line of barmaids at the Rovers Return.
