At the dead end of Lake Washington Road is Lake Washington Park[1]. It is great for boating at the lake and one of the two lakes in Brevard County that you can see a beautiful sunset. The other one was two lakes downstream, Lake Poinsett. The park contains a playground for children, pavilions for birthday parties, and a water treatment plant outside of the park boundary called John A. Buckley Surface Water Treatment Plant.
