Joseph Bottoms (born April 22, 1954 in Millington, Tennessee) is an American engineer^{[citation needed]} and actor.

He is the second son of James "Bud" Bottoms (a sculptor and art teacher) and Betty (Chapman). He is the brother of actors Timothy Bottoms, Sam Bottoms and Ben Bottoms.^[1]

He has made numerous guest appearances in television series from the 1970s to the 1990s.
