A jacket is a lightweight, sleeved thigh- or waist-length coat. Some jackets are fashionable, while others serve as protective clothing. A Jacket is characterised by a collar otherwise it is known as a Cardigan. It is also referred to Choli, Ravika an upper garment with Sari by women In Indian subcontinent.
