Ivaylo Yordanov (Bulgarian: Ивайло Йорданов) (born April 22, 1968) is a former Bulgarian football forward who, as the consummate professional, more than often filled in at defensive midfielder (most notably in the last-16 match against Mexico at the 1994 FIFA World Cup, of fond memories for Bulgaria) or central defender (due to injuries at his most renowned club, Sporting Clube de Portugal).

He was capped 50 times and scored three goals for the Bulgarian national team, including seven games at the World Cups in 1994 and 1998. He was also in the Euro 1996 squad.

Yordanov began his career at local Rilski Sportist.
