ItAli Airlines is an airline based in Pescara, Italy. It operates regional scheduled, charter and cargo services, as well as air taxi flights. Its main base is Abruzzo International Airport, Pescara.[1]

The airline started operations in October 2003 and is wholly owned by Giuseppe Spadaccini.[1] It is the new name for the former TAI – Transporti Aerei Italiani and the former Air Columbia and was operating two Fairchild Metro aircraft from Pescara to Milan and Rome in April 2004 (replaced by a Dornier 328 Jet in January 2005 and a second one in August 2005). In July 2004 a Pescara to Olbia route was opened with a Dornier 328-110 wet-leased from Air Alps. During summer season 2005 new routes (operated by the two Dornier 328Jet) linked Olbia to Pescara, Brindisi and Bergamo.[citation needed]

As of December 2006 ItAli Airlines has begun charter services from Reggio Calabria, taking over a contract previously operated by Dutch airline Interstate Airlines. It provides flights to Bologna and Turin, and intends to add Milan and Pisa, using one of its 164-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-82 aircraft [2]

  • 10 Sukhoi Superjet 100-95 aircraft have been ordered and are expected to be in service in 2009. This order also includes 10 options.
