IRST is used in Iran.
Iran Standard Time (IRST) or Iran Time (IT) is the time zone used in Iran. Iran uses UTC+3:30. IRST is defined by the 52.5 degrees east meridian, the same meridian which defines the Iranian calendar and is the official meridian of Iran.
Iran has not observed daylight saving time since 2005 [1] [2], which was called Iran Daylight Time (IRDT), by discussion of President Ahmadinejad. It is planned to be observed again from 2008, enforced by the Iranian Parliament.[citation needed]
