Ila Arun

Ila Arun is an extremely popular Indian folk/folk-pop singer with a unique, husky voice and a penchant for folk-pop fusion. She studied in Maharani Girls college in Jaipur, India. In the Sony Entertainment Television show Fame Gurukul, she was the headmistress of the school where the contestants of the show trained for the reality singing show. She was a very important factor in the show as she decided which contestants would leave and which would be saved and brought back to Gurukul. Other than many other awards, she has won one Filmfare Award in 1993 for the song "Choli Ke Peeche".She has given many super-hit songs like Vote for ghagra,morni,chad gaya upar re,kahan gaye they, bichuda etc. . She is extremely popular among singers and lot of people await her comeback as she left after giving her album Haule Haule. She was angry on music piracy and remixes. She herselfe accepted that she is all set to return with an album which is ready. She hailes from Rajasthan and loves singing Rajasthani songs in all her albums and many movies.
