Hungary national ice hockey team

The Hungarian national ice hockey team has participated in the IIHF European Championships, the IIHF World Hockey Championships and the Olympic Games. They are currently ranked 21st in the world by the IIHF. It is controlled by the Magyar Jégkorong Szövetség. There are no Hungarian players currently playing in the NHL; three have been drafted to the league though, Tamás Gröschl by the Edmonton Oilers, Levente Szuper by the Calgary Flames and János Vas by the Dallas Stars.
