- The House of Hohenstaufen, a dynasty of the Holy Roman Empire, which included Frederick Barbarossa, Henry VI, Holy Roman Emperor, and Frederick II, Stupor Mundi.
- Hohenstaufen Castle (Burg Hohenstaufen), the castle which served as the seat of the dynasty.
- Hohenstaufen mountain, the mountain upon which the castle is built, and which is named for its conical shape.
- Hohenstaufen (town), the settlement at the bottom of Hohenstaufen mountain.
