Harborfields High School

Harborfields High School is a four year secondary school located in Greenlawn, New York. It functions as the high school for Harborfields Central School District which serves the communities of Centerport and Greenlawn and parts of Huntington, Huntington Station, Huntington Bay and Northport.

As of 2007, the school principal is David Bennardo.

The school building has recently undergone significant renovations which were completed during the summer of 2005.

  • Portions of the controversial movie L.I.E. were filmed here.
  • The film, The Town That Banned Christmas, was filmed in the community serviced by Harborfields High School in late 2005 and early 2006. However, it does not appear to have been shown in any significant venue.
  • The school is ranked 288 on the top 1300 high schools in America by Newsweek as of 2007.
