Gustav Machatý (9 May, 1901 – 14 December, 1963), was a Czech film director, screenwriter and actor. He directed 17 films between 1919 and 1955. He also was the screenplay writer for 10 films between 1920 and 1955.
He was born in Prague, and died in Munich, Germany.
