The following is a list of the Governors of the State of Idaho and Idaho Territory.
- Prior to becoming a territory, parts of Idaho were part of Dakota Territory, Oregon Territory, and Washington Territory; see the lists of governors of Dakota Territory, Oregon, and Washington for the period before 1863.

As of July 2007, five former governors were alive, the oldest being John V. Evans (1977–1987, born 1925). The most recent governor to die was Robert E. Smylie (1955–1967), on July 17 2004. The most recently-serving governor to die was Don Samuelson (1967–1971), on January 20 2000.
