Georgios Hatzianestis

Georgios Hatzianestis (Greek: Γεώργιος Χατζηανέστης) (1863 - 1922) was a Greek General. He was Commander-in-Chief of Greek armies during the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) (known in Turkey as the Turkish War of Independence).
Hatzianestis was executed along with five politicians in 1922 as responsible for the defeat of Greece in that war.
