Florida State Road 64

State Route 64 extends from Holmes Beach in Manatee County to Avon Park in Highlands County. The route terminates in the west at the junction of State Route 789 approximately two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico. The eastern terminus is at the junction of US 27/US 98 in Avon Park. State Route 64 travels from west to east through the counties of Manatee, Hardee and Highlands. It is a mostly rural 2-lane highway going through only two cities, Bradenton & Zolfo Springs. It crosses the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway as well as the Braden & Manatee Rivers.
