State Road 17 (SR 17) is a north-south state road in the U.S. state of Florida. It begins in Sebring in Highlands County as "Ridgewood Drive" and travels northward until it is interrupted by U.S. Route 27 and U.S. Route 98 in Avon Park, where it is known as "Cornell Street". SR 17 continues north from US 27 and US 98 in Polk County southwest of Frostproof, going through that town and takes the name "Scenic Highway" as it winds through Hillcrest Heights, Babson Park and Lake Wales. It continues north under other names as it passes through Dundee and Lake Hamilton, eventually ending in Haines City at US 17 and US 92.
